Bio

Joshua (Josh) Yong is a 3D Animator, 3D Modeler, Storyboard Artist, Concept Artist, Ultimate Frisbee player and avid movie enjoyer. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Josh is in his third, and final, year of study as a 3D Animation student at the Academy of Interactive Technology.

Josh had always been interested in illustration and artworks, specifically surrounding the world of American superhero comics. In 2018, Josh went on an end of year school trip to the cinemas, where his cohort watched Sony Pictures 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'. This was the first time he had thought of the medium of 3D Animation as being capable of pursuing anything but realism. The film catapulted his interest in the medium and lead him to his current studies.
